Looking Back on our renovation of ECHO Apartments

Through repairs, additions, and alterations, a significant part of our work involves renovating buildings to extend their useful life.

Back in 2012, we completed the renovation of ECHO Apartments with Phipps Houses. This 99-unit affordable housing facility for the elderly in Morningside Heights received much needed renovations. Common areas in the lower level were completely re-organized to provide more space for residents and staff. An expressive cantilevered entry canopy welcomes visitors while offering a protective bridge between the lowered rear yard and entry vestibule. @phippshouses
