Bedford Green House II Broke Ground

Aligning with Project Renewal and ESKW/Architects’ mission to serve underrepresented populations, Bedford Green House II will create 46 affordable apartments for families and seniors and 70 supportive apartments for families, individuals, and seniors experiencing homelessness. The development will also house a 2,309-square-foot medical clinic offering services to residents and the wider community. Supporting the strategies defined in Bedford Green House Phase I, Phase II links with Phase I through several shared amenity areas for residents, including the therapeutic Greenhouse atop of Phase I and a rear courtyard shared by the two buildings. The building is expected to meet Energy Star Multifamily High Rise performance requirements and LEED Gold certification under LEED for Enterprise Green Communities.
