Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball School to Break Ground

Preparations are on the way for the groundbreaking this Wednesday for the new 69,000 SF Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball School in South Bronx, designed by ESKW/Architects. NBA players and leadership will be in attendance. The five-story building with a cellar will feature state-of-the-art athletic and learning environments, including an 8,000-square foot gymnasium, a library and media production studio, a dedicated broadcast studio with a green screen, a dining/commons room and 27 regular and specialty classrooms. The project team includes executive architect IMC Architecture, developer Pillar Property Management, construction manager JV Construction & Consulting and contractor Brisa Builders Corp/ Brisa Builders Development LLC.
