Did You Know?

When the U.S. Department of Housing and Development introduced section 202 in the 1980s, our firm helped shape how the funding would be used to build new housing for seniors in NYC and the surrounding areas.

One of these first developments was Phelps House, which houses the Goddard Riverside Community and Senior Center. Originally completed in 1983, we returned to the building in the early 2000s thanks to a section 202 refinancing program, which allowed us to provide the building with the necessary renovations and additions to accommodate community growth and changing program needs.

Although public funding, building policies, and client needs change over time, we are proud to provide long-term care to our clients’ buildings and shifting needs in the community.
