Daniel Horn to Receive Emerging Alumni Award at NYIT’s 14th Annual Alumni and FRIENDS Reception

ESKW/A Architect and New York Institute of Technology alumnus, Daniel Horn, AIA (B.Arch., 2013), will be receiving the Emerging Alumni Award at NYIT’s 14th Annual Alumni and FRIENDS reception this Wednesday. Daniel’s deep commitment to sustained community engagement, sustainability, and resilience, along with his work as Director of AIA Queens and Co-founder of ORLI+ LLC has contributed immensely to the field of Architecture in general and specifically to ESKW/A’s vision for and action towards an equitable and sustainable built environment. Congratulations Daniel, your generosity, integrity, and knowledge are truly inspiring and uplifting to the communities you reach!

At ESKW/A, Daniel is currently working on two projects in the Bronx: the renovation of the Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse for the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club and Phase II of Bedford Green House (Project Renewal), which will provide supportive and affordable housing to chronically homeless single adults and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorder.
