Built almost two decades ago, these 37 two-family houses in East New York were designed for owner occupancy. The 3-story buildings include a ground-floor rental unit with two bedrooms. The houses are constructed of modular, prefabricated units built locally in the Brooklyn Navy Yards. The units were trucked to the site for assembly, providing an efficient and economically feasible housing solution.
