Introducing…St. Anselm’s Apartments!

Catholic Homes NY is partnering with social services provider Nazareth Housing to bring 126 new units of affordable and supportive housing to formerly homeless New Yorkers and people leaving abusive relationships. Located in Mott Haven, Bronx, the 12-story, 112,500 SF building takes advantage of an underutilized, corner parking-lot. Nestled beside the SHPO-designated St. Anselm and St. Roch Church, the new building’s brick façade takes cues from its Byzantine-style neighbor. A modern expression of arch-motifs is paired with natural, copper panels, which add texture to the restrained façade design. By leveraging Height Factor Zoning encompassing the entire church campus, the project maximizes units while providing contextual massing respectful to the neighborhood topology.

The project is currently under construction and expected to achieve TCO in the Fall of 2025.
