Daylight in Connective Spaces

Daylight sources in connective spaces not only provide copious daylight to users, but also encourage the experience and use of stairs. Skylights above the stairs at Bronx Community Charter School (image 1) and New Settlement Community Campus (image 2) visually and metaphorically connect the upper and lower floors.
