Color and Programming at New Settlement Community Campus

At New Settlement Community Campus, breakout spaces carved from corridors create alternative teaching spaces and allow for unexpected locations for learning individually or in small group settings. The Green Commons on the ground floor is a liminal space that marries the corridor to the Gym below while the Red Commons on the second floor serves as story time space adjacent to the library. The use of distinct color schemes on each floor differentiates school programs, fostering a strong identity for each age group.
