Edward May Joins StickBuilt’s 2024 Outdoor Summer Program

Edward May will be joining StickBuilt as one of six talented and thoughtful facilitators attending this year’s 5-day outdoor cross-disciplinary Design/Build intensive for rising 4th / 5th year architecture students.

“My interest in participating in StickBuilt is rooted in a return, both physically and pedagogically, to the place and practice of architecture as I understood it as an undergraduate student in Alabama. I strongly believe that, at some point, we all must return to our origins as a reminder of our intentions going forward. Participating in StickBuilt will be especially fruitful in both directions, providing insight to my current practice and imparting the knowledge from my professional experience that I have gained over the last decade. By working symbiotically alongside emerging and seasoned professionals in the openness of StickBuilt, I anticipate broadening and challenging my paradigm of Architecture through open collaboration and the expression of building.” -Edward May.
